July Intentions

Embracing my European roots. Let's have the most unproductive month ever.

I get the irony. Here I am, writing a post in which I outline all my plans for being very loose, flowy, and spontaneous. But that’s how I roll. If I’m to relax, I need to prepare!

I also need to give one last look at June. This was my vision:

And for the most part, it turned out as I had imagined it: with birthday celebrations, dressing up, being fancy, lots of champagne and cake. I also carved out intentional time for reading, adding beauty to our home, and connecting with loved ones.

My theme for the month was “bubbly,” a lovely reminder to stay uplifted. Even in the tough moments, personally, and in what we’ve been facing as a country, having a positive outlook felt empowering, with a focus on hope instead of defeat.

What comes next?

As much as I’m sad to say farewell to June, I’m looking forward to embracing a new word of focus, unveiling July’s plans, and, of course, a fresh vision board!
