Last month, I cautiously celebrated the success of my new monthly intention-setting ritual—having checked every box on my January list.
The cautiousness was because I didn’t want to get too ahead of myself. Surely, I couldn’t expect intention-setting to work every month. Or could it?
This was my vision for last month:
In February, I aimed to deepen my creative practice by sticking with Morning Pages, taking myself on artist dates, and making real progress on my book.
With family in town, I wanted to embrace play—especially through game nights—while also balancing editing, beta-reading, and exploring screenplays.
Most importantly, I hoped to prioritize what truly matters by limiting screen time, normalizing rest, and practicing self-kindness.
